Rifle Scopes Carbine scope/ IOR vs ACOG TA01

I currently have a TA01 on my 16" AR.
I like the clarity of the ACOG but I'd prefer dialing for elevation to using the BDC for ranges over 100 yards.

How does the 4x IOR line compare to the ACOG in terms of ruggedness, clarity and reliability.
I've read of several IOR scopes going TU and have not heard of any issues with the ACOGs other than depleted tritium.

I don't have experience with the 4x IOR, but the poor eye relief on the TA01 would make me look for alternatives. I sold mine a few weeks after I got it.

I think the IOR has similar eye relief.
