I regularly shoot our local monthly gas-gun match with my LWRCI REPR MKII Elite in 6.5 Creedmoor. Usually around 80-100 rounds over the course of about 90 minutes, usually in 5-6 round bursts. Mirage from the ambient temperature and terrain is way more noticeable than anything coming off the barrel (or the suppressor). I haven't ever thought to myself ... "This carbon fiber barrel has more mirage than my steel barrels".
