I have a Leo-photo 404C Carbon Fiber tri-pod. It has the twist lock legs like the manfrotto, RRS, Two Vets, etc. I have not had a problem with them at all, but have had friends with the manfrotto, break the collet on the inside of the leg, and the section slides out of the bigger leg section completely. Obviously could be a big problem in the field or a match, but if you have a small repair kit, easily fixable, and bob's your uncle.
