How do you all care for your parkerized rifle barrels to prevent rust? Oil? Grease? Which products do you use?

I've had good results with the BREAK FREE LP. Seems to soak into the pores well and does a good job of turning water if you get rained on.

BBT ... thanks for the reply. Couple of questions ... I assume you wipe and and then off? Any issues using Break Free when the barrel heats up? Also, if you have a wood stock any issues with it weeping out and rotting/destroying the wood?

On LTR all I've done is clean it and spary a coat of Rem. Oil on it as if I was spray painting it and let seat after a day or so the oil dries or soaks in. Never had any rust show up and I have run it in the rain at a few hardrock matches.
