Last fall I submitted an application for a Bureau of Diplomatic Security Special Agent post. I just heard back from them today, and the recruiter asked me to come in and test in two months. My question is, primarily, are there any B.D.S. guys on here who can offer advice for the hiring process? I imagine one has to sign a non-disclosure agreement when taking the assessment test, so I'm not going to ask what is on it, but is there any way I can prepare for it? Also, is there anything you all would have liked to have known going in that you care to pass on to me? Lastly, what can I expect from a career with the Bureau of Diplomatic Security? I have done my research, but I have been unable to talk to any active or retired agents about what they don't tell you in the career fair pamphlets. Any information you all care to share is much appreciated.
