I have one of these. It is a very well built machine. I got mine long ago before any of the newer ones came out. I would think the new ones that rotate your casing in the flame would kick butt. I use mine for 223, 6mmbr, 308, and 300WM/338lm.
The bad part for mine is I need plates for each of these calibers. With the 223 I can also do 204 casings and with the 308 I can do any 308 or 30-06 casings in that size and the mag will do any mag. Setup is very easy once you know what is going on and I get a even burn on the neck and shoulder.
The ones that rotate in the fire then move the casing out look like they do a slightly better job at less cost. The BC-1000 I have I know for sure the head of the casing is not getting over heated because of the way the machine is made.
