I've read good reviews regarding the use of stainless steel media for case cleaning. However, I've only seen this media used in rotary tumblers such as Thumler's.

Can the stainless media be used in vibratory tumblers like RCBS, Dillon, and Thumlers?

    Thanks

It would eventually work but we're talking days vs. hours for a drum.

NO. The water is part of the process with the pins. Soap and water are the cleaning agents and the pins are the "scrubbers",

In a vibrator, the pins would merely go to the bottom of the bown and the cases would beat themselves to death. Corncob and walnut shell don't as they are lighter and can create a "current" which causes the media and cases to flow through the bowl.
