Case for folded RPR?

I rarely see hard cases photos with the RPR stock folded. I have a smallish car hatch. Is there a reason why you wouldn’t store/carry the RPR in a folded manner? Does it get too fat?

I use a 36" plano to store mine folded, works great. I imagine in some cases it would be an issue because it is slightly bulky folded

Thanks.! You linked a 42” Plano link. Are you saying that’s what you use, or will the 36” you mention work?

Perfect. Went and remeasured. I wish it fit in 36”, though. It’s big. 42” it is. Reviews were mixed but for under $100 my expectations are fairly low.

I use a Plano 42 inch all weather case.

Note: the rifle is the 6.5 creedmoor version with a stock barrel.

Mine too. Exactly. Do you find the stock folded to press or bulge on the case? That was my original question/concern. thanks

I haven't noticed any bulging.

I should note that Plano does appear to be using a different mold for the case now, so my results *may* be different.
