Case Prep Station and Trimmer

Frankfort arsenal works for me especially if you do manly different calibers. I replaced the cutter with RCBS carbide ones and also use RCBS accessories (same thread pitch as most of the industry accessories) VLD chamfer, primer pocket cutters if you use crimped brass, etc

I got mine Frankfurt Arsenal with really really low expectations but it has done thousands of cases now without fail. I too replaced the chamfur heads to vld style and really like how easy it is to dial into whatever trim length you want to take off the brass.

My case prep station is a Dewalt cordless drill and a hand full of tools from Sinclair. I work on cases over a small plastic tub while watching TV with the family. A friend has the RCBS station and it works well.

Trimmers: Do you want power or hand cranked? I've had both Lyman and RCBS lathe type trimmers and up graded to the Wilson with all of the tricks that Sinclair offers, including the carbide cutter. I use it for my match and hunting ammo. I also have the Giraud bench machine that I use for my high volume stuff. Its expensive but if you load ammo in lots of 500 or 1000 its the way to go. I can do 15 to 16 cases per minute and maintain .001 tolerance. In between these 2 options are several drill powered trimmers that work like the Giraud and index off of the shoulder. Giraud, WFT, and a few others.
