Angled is common is shotgun, an many are upside down as well.

In the intro you're shooting over and then under what looks like a steel 2x4 that it a few inches in front of the steel plate. Am I seeing that correctly and are you intending to go over and under that barrier for a reason? If so, is it to represent cover you're trying to thread the needle with?

I always thought it was just to help to line up center-mass. The 2 shots are his vertical spread I would assume at that 800 yard target or something.

That would be one of the truing bars Frank talks about. Point of reference for vertical impacts.
