I just dumped three accounts that were connected by IP's shared with an exposed scammer. Nigerian funneling money orders to a cited scammer address in DE.
A common thread among them was the use of proxies with Leaseweb that have been highly cited recently for scams and forum SPAM.
When these things come they come in bunches, and when we cross-match IPs and see if other members are using the same services and IPs they are put under some scrutiny.
Frank wants to allow proxy use after signup, citing that people have legit reasons for using them.
That's fine, but when your shady-ass proxy service matches you to people trying to rip good people off don't be too surprised when you can't play anymore.
Bottom line - Use cheap and free proxies at your own risk, but I'm not going to spend a lot of time reading through your posts to determine if you sound legit enough to let slide or not. Erring on the side of caution to protect the good people who come here for the right reasons, and not just have a free storefront or a honey pot to scam people.
