Geezus Krist. Talk about a buzz kill. No, I didn't see that, don't know of it up to now, and it's not surprising. I will say what my intent was. I'm happy that my CCW in Washington State may be good now to traverse the country legally without interruption, so to speak. Hiding an amended Brady Bill to it? Null Bueno.
If your marriage license and drivers license are good in all 50 states and territories, why not your carry license?

The problem is, the fucking Republican leadership in the House, starting with RINO Speaker Ryan, want to combine this great bill with the horrid "fix NICS" bill. Pelosi, Feinstein, Schumer, et al support the "fix NICS" abomination, need I say more? These bills MUST NOT be combined! They need to be voted separately on their own merits. So if you haven't already, now would be a great time to contact your Representative. Click on link below and stand up and be counted.
I contacted my rep, for the second time on this, spefically stating not to combine HR 38 and HR 4477. I then read HR4477 online, I did not see the bitch or the snobs name associated with the bill. I went on the NRA-ILA website and saw nothing about these bills being combined. I have to wonder if this is fake news BS or what?

I'm not even a hobbyist lawyer-type, but I think if you go straight to the source it looks like the bills have been combined. Some of those amendments are pretty fucking outrageous, too, specifically amendments 18 and 22.

So now that the House passed this good and bad bill it goes to the Senate. Inexplicably, pro-gun Senator Cornyn is insisting on separating them in the Senate. So guess what will happen? Yep, national reciprocity, the good bill, will be filibustered. It will die and the shit bill, "fix NICS" will pass. Then the House will have to decide what to do. But there is an excellent chance we get nothing and the gun contollers get a victory. This is why I fucking hate these pussy Republicans.
