just want a decent spotting scope for the range and to see where bullet impact is on target...

Re: Celestron Spotting scopes.

I got one, angle eye piece, its not a bad scope, eye relief is pretty short, I sell you mine with a creedmore bipod stand for 200 delivered, I want to buy a Bushnell FFP Mildot, no hurry LMK.

Re: Celestron Spotting scopes.

I had the Ultima 65 and returned it the same day. Iw as not happy with the picture quality. I then bought the Burris 2575 and it is way more clear. Worth the extra few bucks. I am sure there is better but for the money it is good. $190 at opticsplanet with 5% discount

Re: Celestron Spotting scopes.

I havea C-5 and it rocks. The only problem is that it is so big, its much more suited to clear days with limited mirage as its magnification (50-150X) is huge, just like its 5" objective.

I had a Celestron C90 which I think is pretty close to he C5. It is HUGE. I got tired of draggin it around. The 2575 is a shrunkin down version.
