does anyone use this brand of scope on an ar looking at a 3-9x32 illuminated milldot for night hunting, just want to know if its worth spending the money on it or should i get something else

Re: center point

I used a 4-16 x 40 on my deer rifle (.308) as a temporary. Now it is my .22. Once you handle it and shoot with it, it's very obvious it is a budget scope. However, it seems true and has nice clicks, with OK glass. Illumination sucks and no zero stop or lines to keep track of your revolutions though.

If I were you, I'd go ahead and spring for a Bushnell 3200 or 4200, but if you're set on cheaping out, I suppose the Centerpoint would serve it's purpose.

EDIT: just noticed you mentioned night hunting... in that case, definitely go ahead and spend some more money. For night time, you want AT LEAST a 50mm lens and quality glass. you would be quickly disappointed in the CP in that respect.

Re: center point

well i need a scope in that power range cause i got a brass deflector to put on my ar,but the scope i have on it now i cant use it cause i had to get a scope riser so the bell would clear the handguard

Re: center point

well i also have a mesh brass collector that came with the rifle when i got it i guess i could use that, the scope i have on it now is a weaver 40/44 4-12x44 i think
