Anyone know any good ones in the Centex area? Just moved to Belton, would be willing to drive anywhere from Waco to Austin, I just don't know any good ones.

If you do not mind the drive to south houston, Ed Vanderburg did an amazing job on my 300 win mag. And the other work of his that I have seen is pretty awesome and his prices are really good. pm me if you want his contact info.

KDF on hwy 46 in Seguin does fine work. They did some accurizing work for me in the mid-90s on a couple rifles and did a fine job.
Have heard Kleinguenther who founded KDF is again doing gunsmithing work in Seguin.
There is also Shilen in Ennis Tx up near Dallas. They're a good option if you want a rebarrel and action true job. Might call Jewell in Lockhart, the trigger genius, and ask him for a referral; also Howard Dietz in New Braunfels is a benchrest gunsmith of superb repute. Hill Country Rifles in New Braunfels is supposed to be good...

I went with Mark Pharr with Tumbleweeds Custom Rifles. Should be done here pretty quick. Mark has been great to work with considering I started this project while I was still in Astan.
