New to snipers hide forum. I'm in Central Texas looking to learn more about building bolt action and getting better at shooting over 100 yards. I have learned a lot from the great advice in some of these sticky threads and in "The ultimate sniper" by Maj John Plaster.
Currently working with a 308 rock river arms LAR-8 with bull barrel. This gun was a gift to me years ago and I'm just now getting time to consistently enjoy it due to work constraints.
I would like to build a new bolt action rifle in 308 to be accurate up to 1000 yards. Any advice is welcomed.
