I don't have experience with that barrel, but do have their chrome lined barrel and it is the best CL barrel I have used. I also have a couple of their C4 rails, which are the best available IMO. They are an excellent company and I have no doubt that barrel would be great. However, there are alot of good options for SS barrels these days.

yep I personally know the owner and he is good people. there are a lot of good barrel guys out there but monty makes top shelf stuff and stands behind his product. He is also active duty military if that makes any diference to ya.

Can't speak for the Recon, but I have a MK12 Mod 1 upper from Monty and it not only was an excellent build and shooter, he's a great guy to do business with.
Joe, maybe you can confirm but I believe he's using Douglas barrels.

Looks good to me but 425 is a bit rich for my taste when it comes to a carbine barrel. Up to you.
