Gunsmithing Cerakote on a Accuracy International?

I've seen a few pictures over the internet on various sights of people with Accuracy International AICS Chassis' with the chassis and the barreled action Cerakoted a different color (Black on the chassis, and FDE on the barreled action) and was wondering if it would be possible to do the same with the actual AXMC 308? I know the action is epoxied to the chassis, I'm sure the guy we have locally can just mask around that but would it be safe to bake it in an oven?
