Never used a 2 stage on a bolt until i bought my AI and I love it. Looking for a trigger that will come closest to the feel of the AI.

Huber is out...I dont believe in paying that price for a trigger I cant adjust.

tubb T7 looks nice but its really stretching what im willing to pay for a trigger.

Narrowed it down to the CG Extreme Mod 22 and the Cadex DX2. Found quite a bit of info on the CG but cant find much of anything on the Cadex. Only saw Frank from Bartlein say its the closest to the AI he has felt. Was hoping for more than one mans opinion and wanted to see what you all have experienced if anything. Even if you havent compared either to an AI what has your experience been with either trigger?

I think the AI trigger and CG Trigger are very similar. If you opened them up and looked inside, I wouldn't be surprised if they had a similar parts layout.

I have the CG MODEL 21, which is the older "Universal" trigger. It's a great trigger once adjusted. I think that anyone that has had a bad experience with one either didn't get it adjusted quite right, or had one that lost adjustment. I used some blue threadlocker on mine to keep it from moving.

I personally prefer the target style trigger with adjustable trigger shoe. You can set it up anyway you want with either a long or short first stage.

I have never felt an AI trigger but I like the DX2 Frank is right about not being able to adjust the pull down real light. The DX2 will go no lower the 2 lbs on the second stage, at least mine wont....
