Chamber size.

I was just wondering if I'm getting the right measurement? I got a reading of 2.893-2.895 of my chamber on my remington 700 aac-sd. Does this sound about right or am I measuring it wrong?

As in bullet to the lands, & what bullet.

If that is bullet to lands measurement, that sounds about right for a factory Remington barreled action. My SPS Tac is just over 2.90 with the 168gr SMK's.

Yes bullet to the lands. I am using 175 SMK. This measurement was the average of about 15 times loading round in the chamber. Sorry I wasn't more specific. I know Remington's are famous for having large chambers and I just wanted to make sure I wasn't measuring wrong. Thanks for the input. My average OAL I've been shooting has been 2.798. Been getting sub MOA groupings at 100 yards. Average grouping is .576. My smallest is .374. Largest 1.176. I'm using IMR4064 43.5-44.0 grains. Hornandy match brass.
