I have a LWRC REPR in .308. I had data on the rifle for 100 and 300 yard zero. I knew that I had to come up 5.25 MOA from my 100 yard zero to be on at 300 yards.

I then installed an AAC 7.62SD. Shift was about 4" down and 1" to the right at 100 yards. I then re-zeroed at 100 yards.

I did not have time to re-zero at 300 yards. Will my come up be the same? 5.25 MOA and I should be right on or quite close at 300 yards? I assume the 4" drop at 100 yards does not exponentially increase at 200, 300 and further distances?

Re: Change on POI with suppressor

As long as your suppressor does not add or subtract from your velocity your come ups will be the same.I have one suppressor that bleeds off about 60 ftps and I have one that increases the velocity about 40 ftps. This doesnt sound like much but after 500 yards it can add up to be a conciderable amount.

Re: Change on POI with suppressor

better double check. I'd doubt it would be the exact 5.25 at 300. Might be close but should be choro'd again to make sure.

Re: Change on POI with suppressor

the initial POI change is a one time deal. Once you re-zeroed everything else should remain the same unless your muzzle velocity changed significantly. It probably changed but I doubt it changed significantly enough to effect your 300 yard zero, unless you were shooting at postage stamps...sideways.
