Rifle Scopes Changes to Niteforce ocular?

I just received a Niteforce 2.5x10 scope from a fellow Hider . I was pleasantly surprised to see that the entire eyepiece no longer turns when changing the power setting . Has this always been this way on this score or have they changed the entire NXS line? That's always been my only complaint with Niteforce scopes.

Nxs compact models always this way I think.

I wish they would change that on all their scopes. That has always been the only thing for me to complain about with Nightforce. Its not that big of deal but I just don't like it.

The NXS Compacts (1-4x and 2.5-10x) models have always been that way.
