Rifle Scopes Changing Leupold Mark 4 turrets?

I know this has probably been covered, but any ideas on what it would cost to have M1 turrets on a 2.5-8x36 MK4 converted to M2 1/2" turrets?

I just called today and was quoted $60 to go from M3 to M2.

Is it simply just a turret change, with no work done to the internals?

Not sure on that, but I am pretty sure there's some internal work to go from 1 MOA per click to 1/2 MOA per click.

Last inquiry I made about this, you had to have a scope made in 2008 or newer. An S or T s/n suffix scope.

need to change the internals to do it..well worth it...the M2 is great
