Gunsmithing charles daly 1911

i was curious if any one knew if kimber mainspring housing and magwell would fit and work great with a charles daly 1911. any help would be much appreciated

have you ever tried it before, i just picked up a charles daly 1911 field model for 180 bucks and am wanting to throw some aftermarket parts on it

yes they will, some magwells will requiere fitting, butt hat is with any 1911, depends on both manf tolerences. check you other listing. let me know what you need.

Not that specific combination, but parts are parts. They are both 1911's.

I would get the S&A magwell if you don't already have the Kimber to try.

i think im gonna go with a kimber mainspring housing magwell, and a surefire mr07 tactical light mount for it, i won this past weekend a gift certificate for 200.00 dollars for a set of sights from xs sights for any gun i own and am maybe thinking of replacing them with the xs sights but idunno yet

Have you ever fired a pistol with the XS sights? Everyone I installed a set for started out liking them and eventually realized how much they actually suck. Try them first if you can before you go that route.

ive never tried them but i have a 200 dollar gift certifacte for a set

I have the surefire mr07 mount on my 1911 and love it! had the whole set up cerokoted to match and it looks like part of the gun!

does it work with a blackhawk serpa holster, cause im looking into who has one and what holster it would fit
