My wife has been wanting a rifle for target shooting and short range deer hunting and I've been wanting a subsonic round to play with so when I saw that remington made a SPS Tactical in 300 blackout the little lightbulb in my head lit up. Here's my problem...my wife is 5'4" and I'm 6'7" so needless to say our ideal stock dimensions are drastically different.

I'm looking for a chassis system that could be used on this rifle and easily switched back and forth for use between the wife and I. The best option I've come across so far is the MDT TAC21 with two separate buttstocks that can be quickly swapped back and forth. I like this idea because we can set each stock exactly where we want it and leave them there instead of trying to readjust the settings each time.

Any suggestions or experience on similiar builds would be great.

I have very little experience with AR's. If I was to go with a chassis that utilizes AR buttstocks how difficult would it be to switch them out? Does it cause excessive wear and tear by taking the buffer tube on and off?

I may be misreading, but I'd say you could adjust it all you need, even replace the buttstock without taking the buffer tube off the chassis. I'm not sure what buffer tube that rifle uses, I'd assume a six position adjustable. If not, one should be easy to install, allowing you to adjust length of pull or replace the buttstock without tools.

ETA. Okay, I was misreading. Hopefully not too far off track.
