cheap cheek rest / raised comb ?

[300WSM]

Anyone know of a way to add about 1/8" to my cheek weld/rest? i have a metal stock and it's getting cold!!!

so looking for something mabye I can stick onto the stock etc? Ideas? Thanks!

Trim an old mouse pad and attach it? Or get one of the eagle cheek pads?

or if your in hurry mole skin will keep your face off the cold metal-- not quite an 1/8 inch but simple....

Kotex pad and an Ace bandage. Works like a charm.

Mousepads make great cheekpiece material.

I use 1/2" x 1/2" wall Pipe insulation that you can get at any hardware store. The pipe insulation has it's own tape. It has quite a bite of give, and gives a good soft cheekrest. I cover the insulation with a an Uncle Mikes elastic Buttstock shell holder.

Cheap and effective.....
