Cheap KYL

I put together a KYL made from 1" gongs turned on edge from https://shootingtargets7.com/steel-targets.html I used 3/16",1/4", 3/8", 1/2", and 5/8". for 50 yds shooting, that is all I needed ( Have a full KYL. You could stack then together to get up to a full 2". I have less than $30 in the gongs, I had the other stuff.

Very ingenious! Very simple. I went the opposite route overly complicated and heavy.

Yes I have a full KYL, just wanted something quick and easy to use.

I used grade 8 bolts from a junk bin cut 3/8 behind the bolt head and welded to 12” pieces of 3/8 stock the bolt heads range from 1-1/4 to 1/4 ... cheap and easy
