Re: Cheap way to go

2- things
Save up and get a Jewel. I have one on my 243 and love it. I can't say anything about other triggers because I have never used them but I like my Jewel.
How did you sell the plastic SPS stock for $150? I usually see them selling for $40.00.
Nice build!

Re: Cheap way to go

Don't mean to be a jerk, but is it really a .5 MOA rifle? Meaning, have you shot at the least 10-20 5-groups and they average better than .5" or did you just happen to shoot a couple good groups?

Re: Cheap way to go

and yes this rifle would amaze you I hand load my ammo for it using lapua brass 175 smk 43g varget powder and federal gm 210 primers average fps is about 2573 and I promise you it will shoot .5 or smaller groups with the right person behind the trigger every single time with that load loaded right

Re: Cheap way to go

Im extremely pleased with mine and whenever I think I've figured out everything about adjusting for the wind at long ranges and everything I'm going to build my 338 ultra mag

Re: Cheap way to go

if anyone has and info with results they have had with a 338 ultra that they built it would b much appreciated loads, barrel, stock, muzzle break, what kind of accuracy they got, and how many yards it stays accurate thanks
