Cheapest 6, 6.5, and .308 bullets for practice?

Does anyone bang the 123 gr BTHP by Sierra, Hornady, or Match Monsters in a 6.5?

I’m looking to build a load for a 260 Rem with the 123’s at 3,000+ FPS
2980 with Varget in a creed with sub 1/4moa accuracy with the green boxed 123's 300yd target below

Speer 125 gr for 308. They shoot phenomenal in my 10 twist.

Have to agree. I buy up all the Speer 125 TNT’s at the local Sportsman’s Warehouse when they are in stock. They shoot good enough for close range and my shorty 308 and 300 BLK love them. One of the best values going. For my long barreled 308, I’ve been shooting the Mid-South Match Monsters for general plinking inside 500. I think they’re basically the old Nosler CC’s rebranded. Cheap and accurate, but I wouldn’t call them half MOA.

I am a 30 cal shooter but most of it is 308 Winchester. I love using 178 BTHP’s from Hornady. I never buy anything less than the 800 round box. If I am shooting 150 in my M1A I use IMI projectiles. Widners is the best place to buy them.
