Hello all,
I am a seasoned 3-Gun and USPSA shooter from SW Kansas looking to get set up to shoot long range matches. I think it’ll make me a more well-rounded shooter, and I am fortunate to have a well-run match within a couple hours’ drive from the house. I also have several friends already involved in PRS, so that’ll make it easier to get in to. Anyway, I look forward to searching through the forum for answers to my questions, ask questions, and I’ll contribute where I can.
Thanks,
Matthew

If you haven’t already found them, check out KPRC on Facebook. Kansas Precision Rifle Club. A good way to get yourself into competing longe range shooting on the amateur level

I did find them on Facebook, thanks for the suggestion, and will be shooting a match very soon. I bought an HMR in 6.5 creed and outfitted it with a Harris Bipod, Fortis brake, seekins 20moa rail, Seekins rings and a Vortex Viper PST GenII 5-25x scope.

That sounds like it should be able to hammer some steel very well. Most everybody will answer you’re questions or at least give u some sound advice on here or st those matches. I’m over on the Mo side so I haven’t shot any Ks matches yet. Good luck and have fun
