This is the new Underground Skunkworks Cheek Pad. It accomodates eight rounds of ammo, has a zippered pocket and is fully adjustable for a multitude of stocks....

These pads come standard with certain Skunkworks package builds but they're also available as a stand alone item for your existing rifle.

Re: Cheek Pad from Underground Skunkworks

Mike,

Any way to get the zipper reversed? Was shooting with a couple Hide members today and we all agreed that it would be nice to be able to open the top part way to access drop chart, etc, without stuff falling out the back. Just a suggestion.

Thanks John and you may make a valid point. I'll be on the range out back tomorrow and will play around with what you're talking about....

Nick I get my suede from Joanns fabric,or you can go to rockywoods.com and get the slip not grip in coyote, black and ranger green.

Sorry Dude, I'm a lefty myself by I'm right eye dominant. Haven't shot lefty in years....Everything I have in stock right now is for the greater majority, but I can and will certainly do a run for the lefties....

The KUKRI and RECON (when the RECON is in a T3). The T3 is primarily the reason I did the Cheek Pad, but they work well on other non-adjustables....

I have quite a few right now and can maintain what I need for current builds, so I'm thinking I'll do a Group Buy for $35 plus shipping ($4.95 or less USPS Priority) if there is enough interest.

Thanks and will do. I'm rather intrigued by JRob's question and will look for some different colors....

I'll be re-doing the website soon and I'm going to add a shopping cart. In the meantime, just give me a call or shoot me an e-mail and I'll get you squared away.

Another idea would be to offer a configuration that would work with a side mounted flush cup.

Re: Cheek Pad from Underground Skunkworks

Mike. change the zipper and make the guys above happy.

whilst you are at it.

make the zipper go the other way.

to me the zip on this, and all other cheek pads ive ever seen go the wrong way, often access is required in confined spaces in which a rifle is pointed slightly upwards, invarably what you want to retrieve from the pouch is stuffed in the front of it and you have to open the zipper fully risking kit falling out the rear end,

my train of thought goes that if the zipper was forward when closed, its possible to get full access from through the opening from the top without having to rist kit falling out the arse end

what do you think ?

regards Pete

Pete,
I agree that all points above are valid and reasonable so I'm saying "UNCLE" on this one. I have a few cheek pads from my last run to sell and the next run will include the changes in the zipper. I'll post photos of the changes as soon as possible. Thanks Pete and to all who gave me your thoughts on this....It's what product improvement is all about....

Re: Cheek Pad from Underground Skunkworks

Cool, i,m glad to finally get something from you and it's not going to cost me. In a post earlier a fellow mentioned about the flush cup. Have you thought about any ideas to make it workable?

Re: Cheek Pad from Underground Skunkworks

Very nice looking, I like John's idea about reversing the zipper direction too. Maybe I missed it, but is it safe to assume "Made in USA" ?

How many lefties do you need to make a run? I'm getting tired of waiting (7+ weeks) for the backorders on Eagle to come in, I need 2 in LH trim.
