I'm going to be loading for 6.5 PRC. I've already got an L.E. Wilson seater die. I went to buy a K&M press and their website doesn't give a lot of information on what accessories are for what.
So, do I want the extra long column? I am thinking this just is to allow for much higher seating, aka longer rounds, right? So something like a .50 BMG round, not my 2.8-3.1" 6.5 PRC, is that right?
Also, do I need the standard force pack or the low force pack? I can't find anything on their site about this - how does one know? Do certain calibers require more force to seat? This is pretty new to me, as you can probably tell, which is why I am trying to buy good equipment and get the things I need the first time, rather than have to buy again after getting the cheap stuff first that isn't going to work for me.
Also, is the Mitutoyo dial indicator worth an extra $80?
Thanks for any advice you guys can offer me. I appreciate it.
<edit> I'm not sure if it is a major factor, but my action and barrel are going to be customized for the 147gr ELD-M. I have 200 of these as well as 100 Gunwerks 6.5 PRC new brass, which I have read is likely made by ADG for Gunwerks.
