Hi All,

I had purchased a Bergara Ridgeback in 300 PRC. The gun shot very well without even trying, real tight groups. The problem was with the magazine and what I am assuming is the bottom metal. After sending the gun back and forth to Bergara 3X with them able to reproduce the issue but not fix it, I asked for and have received my money back. I am not in the market for another 300 PRC. I am eyeing the BA Tactical from Christensen Arms in 300 PRC. I have read a few threads about quality control issues and having just gone through an ordeal with Bergara I would like to avoid a similar situation.

So I am looking for thoughts on the CA tactical. Thanks.

Only go CA if you just have to subject yourself to more punishment. Decades ago they set the bar for rifles that don’t shoot well and have to go back. I only recommend them to people I don’t like.

Edit: just looked at the price. You could build your own with premium parts for that much.

I shot the CA Ridgeline in 300 prc. It belonged to a friend. Used Hornady 212 eldx ammo. We stretched it out to 600 yds which is the furthest distance we had. Shot 4.5 inch group at 600. Sub MOA all the way. With the muzzle brake, very pleasant to shoot. Saving to buy my own. Would highly recommend CA from my experiences.
My 2 cents...
