Anybody care to talk about this company? good or bad lets hear your thoughts. I really would like to know about their barrels if anybody could offer me some insight. thanks

yeah my sporting goods store has 3 of them in stock and I think their like 338 rum 300rum and a short action probably a wsm
Are they still safe to shoot that way? When you get them fixed you can have the smith install a muzzle brake at the same time, which will make for more comfortable shooting.
yeah they have it doesn't thread on and stop on carbon fiber it has steel or titanium behind it and its totally safe to shoot, no need to get it fixed (unless you live in one of those states) and I've only handled them they are very nice and light I bet they wouldn't bite too bad since they have a nice butt pad and muzzle brake. They weigh probably 7lbs and thats with a 26in bbl 338 rum, sounds like a good moose rifle

Recoil in my 7wsm and 300wsm weren't unacceptable. Especially with the brake in place. They come with a nice thread protector as well, made out of titanium I think.
I'd read that they have poor customer service. I called after I obtained my first one, the 7wsm. I wanted to know any details they had - wheyn the built it, barrel twist, custom barrel or did they turn down the factory barrel, etc. They bluntly stated that they didn't keep records like that.

He's busting your chops for spelling.

Brake- something used to slow down or stop movement or activity.
I think you completely missed my point. The word is brake, not break. It's no big deal, but thought you might want to know.
yeah, I know I'll fix them but I was kinda tired and misspelled them, we all make mistakes were only human.
I could not have been more gentle and good humoured about it. Hope you're not all bent out of shape about it. Many, many, people don't know the difference and use the wrong word all the time. Just trying to help you out so other people don't actually bust your chops.

Just got a buddies Christensen .338 Lapua barreled action in tonight.It's a piece of work.He also has one in .300 RUM for hunting and it's been a performer from day one.They both came with the vias style muzzle brake,but I switched them to a Hollands radial brake.It makes a big difference in felt recoil and debris blowing from the ground.Never had any problems dealing with the company,you just have to wait in line like everyone else.
I've heard Christensen has had a lot of barrels that flat out don't shoot and people have had to send them in to get rebarreled at the factory. For the custom price you pay I dont think it should have those kinds of issues.
I have loaded for 5 different guns for friends. Could only get one to hold any kind of group. Three of the guns had been sent back many times with no luck. You couldn't give me one of those guns. We call them the Doctor gun around here. For the guy that has money burning a hole in is pockets and thinks because its $10,000.00 gun its the best. The factory is just down the street so they sold a lot of them around here. I never hear anyone that is ever happy with them. Good Luck

I use them exclusively on my Carbon Ti rifle with a titanium receiver and Manners Elite Hunter stock. I used to think they were a gimmick but they've proven otherwise.

A friend of a friend bought one in 7mmRM. Shoots worse than a factory rifle. 1.75" all day long man, LOL.
I have a CA in 7wsm and its a shooter.. sub MOA out to 600 with 64.5gr of ramshot mag and a 168vld hunting bullet .004 off the lands. it bug holes 5 shots at 200yd then the barrel get to be a lil hot for my liking! it is under 6.5lbs So i would say it is a GREAT hunt rifle!! as for a long range paper puncher i would stick to a all steel heavy barrel..
