What’s everyone asking for Christmas this year?

I never know what I want, and end up defaulting to a box o’ SMKs and maybe some other little odds and ends.

Other than Bulk M193's ?, nothing. The garage is full of shit that the wife will have to liquidate after I have expired......By the time that happens, all of my stock of reloading components will have gone up in value 4 fold....If you can successfully invest in lead, why buy gold ?....

My wife looks at all my stuff and looks right at me and says "I hope I die first".

I normally buy my own. This year my wife has something cooked up. And my daughter says she came up with something so good I will probably want it ever year after this one. I am curious for sure.

Powder, Primers, and Bullets. That is the standard fare on both the 'give' and 'receive' list for me here. Newcomers to the family almost always get a funny look in their eyes when they open a wrapped box of bullets. The 'wondering' in their eyes is awesome.

Then, when it is explained to them that they are to partake in both loading the ammo (here) as well as joining us at the range for them to shoot it off... they're learning the process from the beginning to the end.

Always a great method of welcoming another into the fold, in a few different ways.

For me though, this year, all I'm 'asking for' that's extra is a bit of a pricey "upgrade kit" from Pontos for a 1:350 BB62 New Jersey model. Even if everyone (in the family here) goes together to kick towards it I am TOTALLY great with that. It's been a HELL year, and this is part of the 'Winter Do-Over' that's happening for us just after Christmas. Commmme onnnnnn 2019. Can't get here fast enough.

I cheated. Wife said go buy what you want so I did.
    I naturally said thanks.

    Wife ? Permission ?.........What's that ?.......;)

I joke, she's been beyond great (I still plan on going first). One of us will have to deal with the fallout. I would like to be oblivious about the details.....

hahahah Trump should say he supports her

I told my bride what I wanted. Also told her I could put a list together and she said get fucked because I may as well but that shit myself. so I threw a few ideas her way. She never disappoints.

Ultimately, a pistol can and a host for it.

I typically buy myself whatever I can convince myself that I need.
I'm working on convincing myself that I need a Magnetospeed V3, but I'm not there just yet.
Someone who could replicate a simple fucking spinning lure from a given sample would be nice though. :sneaky::poop:

Something tells me you’d be better off resurrecting the spinning lure topic AFTER the holidays are over. When they're not sitting under the tree Christmas morning, you’re not going to be very happy.......:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Always in need of various SMK's, powder and CCI34's and CCI35's. And certain brass. Could use a couple decent optics too. Does it ever end?

Better than last Christmas when all I needed was a lawyer. You guys came through gangbusters on that! Probably the most anyone has ever spent on me at any Christmas in my whole life. I'll always be grateful and paying that forward. Saving someone from falling through the cracks is probably the biggest gift and the most meaning for Christmas I can think of, because it means so much and it lasts forever.

I wish every scaly, stinking, hairy knuckledragger on this site a Very Merry Christmas!

EAA P Match Pro, I've never taken a deer with a semi-auto pistol, so I needed:D one. Plus there is a 3-day Christmas deer season, so my present will be trying to get my first deer with a semi. Other than a big Christmas dinner, I'm pretty much set. Oh sure, I could come up with some stuff, but it's just "would be nice to have" stuff that I can't really justify.
I certainly hope the rest of you have a fucking awesome Christmas, and get some stuff you need!

My daughter gets her drivers license in 5 months and I plan to give her my VW GTI and get something new but that isn't a Christmas present.

It is really sad but there is nothing that I really need or want. I may buy a Labradar. Even though I don't reload, I can really take a lot of data on the cartridges I shoot and that would be pretty good for expanding the knowledge base.

I am all ears if anyone wants to make a suggestion

I've been getting pressed for what I want from people since last week. Apparently no one thought me saying M107 thought I was serious.

Only things I got myself on sale were 4x replacment AR bolts that were super cheap, 3 boxes of that 22LR that's been on sale everywhere and a Geiselle trigger I needed for another Hydromatic Mk12 lower I had.

Everyone I know is scared shitless to buy me something because they know I only like/want specific things. You can't just buy me a bottle of cognac or a cigar or some gun part and figure I'd like it; doesn't work that way and everyone knows it.

And that's DEFINITELY not a bad way to be. Everyone's happy, all around.

Yes and dear God don't get me 'cool' gun culture shirts and weird nick nacks you think that would be cool because I shoot or was deployed.

If I wanted any of that I'd find my MVM marked shit and wear it.

On a side note, my wife, who is horrible at hiding things, managed to maybe find a nice gift I'd enjoy. A few years ago she managed to snag a complete set of the 'Rolly Poly' gold and crystal glasses made in the 1950s or 60's that are featured in Mad Men. If you've watched, you know the ones I'm talking about. Apparently there's an ash tray that goes with them.
