We have one BR set in Quarter sawn and the other is straight grain. The dining set will be QS if I don't flip and go hickory.

Hickory would be awesome.

Momma and I like the quarter sawn and I have some antiques of quarter sawn oak as well.
We both love the mission style furniture.

I remember your bedroom set posts last year Tucker. You shoulda seen momma’s eyes pop when I showed them to her.

Hickory would be awesome.

The one on display was hickory, but it was in a natural finish and it looked like it may conflict with the oak china hutch. Hickory in a darker satin might be OK.

Dave, if you are on the transplant list, let us know. Many here will pray for you either way and we could up the ask if you are on the list.

The pisser is the doc told me I am not sick enough to be on the transplant list. Can't walk up a flight of stairs without being winded. Trying to press him on getting me on the transplant list, but not sure how long it will take. On the bright side I still make it to range on occasion.

Left the Filson catalog out in the kitchen with post it notes strategically placed......a coat to last me the next 40 years of snowshoeing or whatever would be good....

I spend my own money on stupid things so I kind of rely on others to provide me with the sensible. useful stuff.

I could really go for a nightforce ATACR 7-32x56 in MOA. But something about the $3500~ price tag is going to make santa (wife) say hell no. Wonder if there is some way I can buy it "for her" and get away with it. haha
