Gunsmithing Chrome Moly or SS

I'm building another 6.5x47, I have 2 barrels in hand, one a SS Krieger 1:8.5, the other a CM Brux 1:8.5, both sendero tapers.
Entertaining nitriding it, paint another idea.
What are your thoughts.

Local opinion is + CM.

well I know your gonna wear them both out. You should just give me one and I'll keep it safe for ya.
Have you seen any real accuracy differences between CM or SS?
I know your getting wayyy more trigger time than me, just wondered if you can see any real advantage accuracy wise?
My 300wm is CM bro-in-laws is SS so far neither is a clear winner
CM is lasting longer throat wise but the groups are almost identical

I've heard that SS is slipperier than ChroMo, so I guess your FPS will be a tad higher if you used SS. I've used ChroMo and SS barrels on one of my Savages, and I couldn't tell you the difference between them.

I don't think anyone is getting any trigger time around here.
Wind has blown for 3 weeks.
I sold the CM, but wanted to try it. It is going to get nitrided, so we'll see how it does.
All my custum guns have ss.
