Was grinding my meat, making some burger, chorizo and some hot-italian

As I was cleaning the grinder, a chunk of lead falls out, bout the size of buckshot, or maybe a .22

Last year I cut the shit out of my knuckle while butchering, on a broadhead that was hiding in one of my deers shoulderblades.

One year I had #6 birshot in my meat.

Bad shit happens,

a test in Sweden found that 7 out of 10 adult roe deer, aged 5 and older had shot pellets in then even when shot with a rifle,

swedish wildboars aged 3 and older about half of them have wounds from previously being shot.

Bow hunting is not allowed here by law, so my hands are safe for the time being.

Best I have done is take a US nr 1 out of the scull of a roe buck and also a FMJ 6,5 mm 146 grain bullet out of the hamstring of a moose.

I'd be more worried about the stuff I can't see in that store bought burger

...as long as you still have lead in your pencil!

#4 shot in my bear
.22 rimfire in my deer
#8 shot in my squirrels (i use a .22 rimfire, so it wasn't mine)
found a shard of wire (looked like a cable splinter) in a turkey.

i like "heavy metal", but in my ears, not my belly!

My grandfather was a warden for Cal DFG, he killed a bad problem bear somewhere in San Bernardino area, butchered it and found more than a handful of different projectiles in its carcass.
