Rifle Scopes CLAMP-ON RETICLE LIGHT?

Several years back Cabla's or Gander Mountain offered a clamp-on scope reticle light. It used a clear, U-shaped Lucite plastic rod to direct the light through the ocular lens. All of tLucite rod was coated in black except the end facing the lens.

Is such an animal still manufactured?

I have no idea but I have seen guys use the real small flexible light sticks and seemed to work pretty well
