My father and I are thinking of starting to compete next year. I have not found much on matches other than Perry. Any ideas on where to find available matches. We live in Missouri

I don't know what you call "classic". You mentioned Perry so I'm going to assume you're talking about Vintage Sniper Matches.

The CMP puts them on at Perry, and the Eastern & Western Games.

Also CMP affiliated clubs conduct them across the country in their Sanctioned GSM matches.

Here is a list of the CMP matches by state.

They are run using the same rules as fired at Perry.

I'm not sure exactly what you are looking for match wise. But me and my dad and brother are all getting more involved in tactical/precision shooting, and are getting ready to hopefully attend the match in Mack's Creek MO next year. It is more of a tactical match and looks like it will be a good time. I expect to look like a fool, but I hope to learn a lot and have fun doing it.
