This is purely for cosmetic reasons, but recently got a Match Hellfire instead of Sidewinder for my 300wsm build. Anyways, never realized how the 3/4 mount looked. I tried to look up the thread pitch to mount a Hellfire brake/Maverick directly to the barrel but don't see it listed anywhere(probably for good reason since I believe it interfaces with the tapered nipple?). Anyways, does anyone else sell adapters for Hellfires or would cutting it down to 5/8-24 and running the regular 5/8 adapter cause anything detrimental? it's a varmint barrel in 308(will soon be reamed to 300wsm).

I think you're stuck using the sidewinder or re-threading to 5/8 if you must run the hellfire.
