When I clean my REM 700 I use a bore guide that installs after removing the bolt. How does that work with an AR10? Do you remove BCG and charging handle and do the same? Do you leave the lower connected to the upper with both takedown pins? I assume I can buy a 308 bore guide and use for a 6.5 CM SP10? Do you guys recommend cleaning the barrel of a new rifle before shooting it? Thanks in advance. Just getting familiar with ARs.
