Cleaning rod length, Seekins SP10, 6.5 CM with 22” barrel?

I’m ordering a Tipton cleaning rod for my new (on way) SP10 With 22” barrel. Since you remove the rear takedown pin and rotate barrel to expose chamber (removing BCG/charging handle) how long should the rod be? Looks like 36” and 40” are options. Thank you

I have a 36" Tipton that is long enough for my 28" AR15.

Is your barrel 28”? Or 28” for barrel plus action length? I’m thinking with a 22” barrel plus the BCG length that’s probably 30” . So perhaps 36” rod should work?

The AR10 upper is a little longer than the AR15 upper, maybe 1.25".
My AR15 barrel is 28"
The 36" Tipton rod should be just long enough for a AR10 with a 28" Barrel.
Plenty long enough for anything shorter.

Ok , thanks. I had never heard of a barrel that long on an AR platform.
