Called Possum Hollow couple of times today. No reply & can't leave a message. I sent an e-mail request, but I don't have high hopes for e-mail. Probably get lost into a junk-mail folder.

Possum Hollow guide arrived this evening. Fast shipping & good looking product.
Have to admit I'm not sure on how to position this guide into the action. I've used a center-fire version before, but not a rimfire. Is the cut-out portion inserted into the action first? Is the cut out positioned downward to clear the ejector? Does the ejector interfere with (scrape) the cleaning rod?
The slot end should go in first. As for rods, I use a 17 cal rod. I use it because I have a few 17 HMR's and 17 HM2. If you know for 100% you will never have a 17 cal then just get the .20 cal size. I also use and prefer a coated rod. Get one with a ball bearing handle. Get one long enough for your longest barrel, don't forget the action length. You will need the 17A adapter made by Dewey to attach the 22 jags and brushes to the 17 or 20 cal rod. For a jag, I recommend the brass Parker Hale type. Patches I like the 1-1/8" square ProShot. This size will wrap around the Parker Hale jag perfect and be a perfect fit for a 22 rimfire bore. For brushes I use and recommend an all bronze brush, preferably the Dewey brand. For a cleaning solution, everyone has a favorite. I use Shooters Choice MC-7.
