Cleaning rods/jags for Vudoo

i think mine is a .17 cal coated dewy...i only use a cleaning rod every 500ish rounds the rest of the time i just pull a bore snake through it with a couple drops of rim fire solvent...if your going to use a cleaning rod most of the time id recommend you take a look at the vudoo bore guides...i have one and they are nice.

Good stuff man, yeah that was something I forgot to ask (boresnake) I run one through mine too.. didn’t know if it was kosher or not..thanks for the info, I’ll check out the bore guide on Vudoo’s website, thanks!

When I first bought my v22 i was scolded by a buddy for even thinking about using a "dirty rope" to clean the barrel :D
Not gonna hurt a single thing. Granted , the boresnake should not be all sludged up. I usually just patch mine out until the pathces come out white. But there will be a time when a brush is needed. I would have no problem with the boresnake. A lot of this stuff is folklore, or the socially accepted conventional wisdom. The biggest offender of which is the overly hyped/parroted " carbon ring."
