Need some ideas on mounting a clip on to a bolt action. I have a Remington 700 trued action with a 16” carbon fiber barrel in a manners mcs-cs stock so the badger efr is not an option and it looks like they discontinued the efr-lr. Considering a mars rail like pri manufactures. Any other brands to look at?

Not sure the standard efr would be far enough forward for my setup.

Now I see your conundrum, so it's not really an issue of fitment but rather length..I get stuff.

Hopefully the lri mount will work out. I guess absolute worst case you could swap out optics between your longer length day optic to a shorter length "night optic". I do this with my shorter length barrel/handguard setups on my gas guns with a pvs 30 to keep the muzzle flash as far forward as possible.

Best of luck to ya.

I’ve been on the phone with a guy at LRI. They have been very helpful. Between the information we have given each other and some quick measurements on my end, I think it is going to fit just right.
