Maggie’s CMA Awards

“Country” music now a days is nothing more than skinny jean wearing hipsters singing 90’s soft rock and throwing the words “tractor”, “ tailgate”, and “ cold beer” In occasionally...... it’s a fucking disgrace

I also don’t give a shit about award shows... I could care less about a group of rich cunts who have never worked a day in their lives telling each other how great they are

Sound like the NFL...

Hi,

Wonder how much money I could make if I bring one of these to the CMAs....

It's no coincidence that Roy Clark died right after.

Modern country music SUCKS.
There is some hope on the horizon. I was involved with a young upstart enough to see that there are more like her and there's a revival of old style, soulful, meaningful country music songs and artists. I think the pop thing will run its course and subside. Maybe it's just cyclic, like fashion and other trends.

At different times in my life I have been into 60's and 70's rock, the angriest heavy metal, country and bluegrass. These days I just realize I don't really have time to follow or give a fuck about any of it.

Waylon Jennings never went to an awards show. All the the awards he received were picked up by a friend in his honor. He always claimed you shouldn’t get an award for doing what you loved to do. Doing it was reward enough.
