CMP Advanced Maintenance Class

Five Classes listed for next year, all five were filled up within 30 minutes of posting.

With that kind of demand, you'd think they'd have more classes.

Good point, but the instructors aren't available, they still have thousands of rifles that have to be checked out and rebuilt before they can be sold. There are only so many hours in the day.

It's a good class. I was lucky enough to go through it last year at the East Coast Matches. It was especially helpful for me since I'm new to the M1. The CMP Armorers who taught the course were very good. The class could have been a bit longer, though, with more hands-on. I hope you get into one soon!

A good friend of mine was crafty enough to get into one for this coming spring. Unfortunately my work wouldn't allow my own attendance for this coming year, but I'm hoping he can pass on some of the knowledge to me. Three day course by the masters and you come back with your own built Garand all for $1400 is a serious bargain and opportunity.
