Gunsmithing CNC machining thread protectors!

This is for those that love CNC machining and gun parts.
This is an older lathe, super accurate and it's making it happen!

Looks good! Can't wait to get a CNC lathe in the shop specifically for production stuff like this. May I ask the model of the lathe? Does it have live tooling?

Thanks. It is a Hyundai Hit-8s
No live tooling, that would be awesome.
It had very low hours it was somewhat close to the shop and the price was right. I very much dislike the Siemens control though, much prefer FANUC. I did add some live tooling to my gang bar for making bolt knobs in the haas Tl-1 I will post that video.

Do you make thread protectors for the chamber end? I've wished I had one a few times when shipping threaded barrels.

Very cool! I am looking into machines now for our shop. I've got several I'm considering. I'm not a machinist, so taking my time, doing the research, educating myself, learning 3d modeling, cad/cam and talking to the right people. Hoping to purchase a machine in the next couple months with live tooling for some projects in mind.

It has been a few years since I purchased anything from them. I prefer it to be a few more.
