Cold Bore Shot............

I have a CZ 550 308 bolt action rifle w/bushnell scope 6x14x40 and I try to shoot as often as I can but I was give a challenge and yet for you more expirienced shooters it was a challenge for me ok the challenge:

1. I had to clean my rifle and oil it the night before.
2. First thing at the range right out of the case no warm up or practise shooting COLD BORE, i had to take out a target 500 meters about the sizes of a head.

And i did it. Hell Yeah!

My next challenge is to shoot 6 target two on the left and right of the range 100meters, then a two 500 meter shots one stationary and the other is a balloon at 500 meter will see.

Its always good to know how your rifle shoots when cold and clean right out of the bag. Nice job.

You may want to prepare yourself for some interesting comments and challenges.

Like this:

1. Shoot a sub MOA group left handed if you are right handed.

2. Shoot a sub MOA group out to 1000

3. Take a bunch of viagra and shoot a sub MOA group by pulling the trigger with only your dong.

etc. I think you know where this is going to go.

This may be obvious to some, but <span style="font-weight: bold">be sure to have a proper recoiling base with option 3! </span>

338lm will destroy your chances of kids this way. Remember kids, free recoil dong shooting is not reccomended.

try shooting eggs at 500. Also try shooting small Helium baloons tied to a string on a wndy day. And there is also the unknown distance shot using your reticle only for a hold over.

Then try it all with:
no rear bag
no bipod just a rough rest
Runng a 100 yard dash first
getting punched in the groin first

Finally run a 100 yard dash, then get punched in the groin, then shoot an egg at 500 yards cold bore, then a quick follow up at a moving baloon at a unknown distance. All with no rear bag and your stock resting on a rock

I stumbled across the Smack the Smiley postal match yesterday, you could try entering it, it's put on by a Hide member I think.

It's got a cold bore shot, then an assortment of different shots at 100 yds. Knowing you have to mail it back puts the pressure on a surprising amount too.

Consistently shoot MOA at unknown distances out to the effective range of your rifle. That challenge will keep you busy for a while

...after that, do the same from support side, differing angles and positions. That will keep you busy for a lifetime.

I've said this many times before,,,,I love this F-in place. Reading this thread while at work, busted out laughing, choked on the water i was drinking, now look like a total dipshit, thanks, I needed that one today.
I say shoot the balloon at an unknown distance, on a windy ass day, with your dong, while getting a bj from your girl.

Take a sheet of paper and stick 20 1" circles on it.

Set it at 100 yards.

Set your rifle up and leave the action open and one round next to it.

SPRINT from your rifle to the 50 yard line, then back.

Immediately drop behind the rifle, load and fire one round.

REPEAT 19 times.

It will be a humbling experience, especially if you are not used to physical stress when shooting.
